Training of New and Emerging Business Leaders

"Being a Leader" leadership training is designed by industry leaders to prepare, develop, and support new and emerging leaders.  Training is provided by experienced instructors in business leadership skills, and is funded by REAL JOBS RI.  This training program is available free of charge to individuals who want to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to become company leaders.

Leadership Training Program:

  • 36 hours of training over 12 sessions

  • Competency-based classroom instruction

  • Mentoring from an experienced leader

  • On-the-job training plan to transfer learning

  • Earn 3.6 CEUs from URI
